" Staff was friendly and courteous. Room was clean and comfortable. Small glitches in room were solved promptly and those that could not be were not important. Private pool access was a wonderful perk. Prices of restaurant and minibar were reasonable and not exorbitant. Good value for the area. The only thing differentiating it from a 5 star hotel was lack of providing tooth brush. Very pleased with the stay. "

Other than nationally known Thai events, Krabi observes several local festivals such as
the Andaman Sea Festival which is held annually in November to signal the beginning of the holiday season.
The festival features cultural events as well as water sports. The setting adrift of the Chao Le Boat on island is a religious event observed by the Chao Le people on every full moon of the sixth and eleventh month.
During this event boats are ceremoniously released at the beach as a symbolic act of purging bad luck while participants engage in singing and in dancing the Rong Ngeng around the boats to be released.
